Until it affects them

To Maga and other trump voters,

As some of you sit here saying you regret voting for him. As others cling to their pride refusing to admit the same. As you all stare at your rising bills, closing businesses, fading tourism, empty hotels and raging about your children being drafted in a war on another land, I wonder if you’ve realized the main problem yet.

People who do not care that they blew up a school full of 7 years old, even if those are in another country, do not care if your children also die. People who have dropped bombs on survivors of their own previous bombings clinging to blown up fishing boats, do not care if your children are blown up in a war.

People who say they will kill an entire civilization, do not care that you can afford to pay your bills. People who grab folks off the streets do not care if you can afford to eat. People who cut money for people’s health care and food assistance for starving people, do not care if you are sick and your hospitals closing.

And neither did you, until it started affecting you personally. But see, that’s the hic, they won’t care until it starts affecting them and the problem with that is, they aren’t being affected, in fact as your condition worsens, theirs are getting better. It will take a whole lot to affect them, and maybe then they will care, but really not much can affect them. So you screwed us, you screwed yourselves for nothing. They do not care about you, the same way you did not care about anyone else.

You and them, have the same mentality, what is it that you said? You saw yourselves in him. He’s just like us, you said. Did you not realize that meant if you don’t care about folks you don’t know, they wouldn’t care about you? Cause they don’t know you, you mean absolutely nothing to them. Just like others mean absolutely nothing to you.

Perhaps in the future, instead of voting so others can suffer, maybe work on that selfish nature you got and vote so that at least you can pay your bills and reopen your businesses. But, take a good look at those you put in power, it’s a mirror of your own reflection.

Hey MAGA! Have you got enough yet?

Because you didn’t want to be woke

You elected the orange bloke

Now the country’s almost broke

And we’re praying for a stroke

But at least you ain’t woke!

You’re just a joke!
