Congress needs to take Spoiled Little Brat Donald out to the woodshed and give him a good old fashioned spanking! NATO will continue as an Alliance of Front Line Nations in defense against Russian aggression and the US will return to its membership in 3 years under a proper US president. In the US, if Trump is still around then, he will likely be imprisoned and his name “from every coin removed.” Trump’s legacy will be "the worst president ever, anywhere!" Google’s AI states, “The 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (Section 1250A) officially prohibits the President from suspending, terminating or withdrawing from the North American Treaty without a two thirds Senate vote or an act of Congress.” Is there anything about that which is not clear? This morning, Reuters reports “Poland calls for calm, Germany says it remains committed to NATO [and] British PM says [his] country should pivot to closer ties with Europe.” Earlier Pete[r] Hegseth, the self proclaimed US Secretary of “War,” demonstrating he still needs a veterinarian’s “fix”, refused to reaffirm the US’s commitment to NATO’s Article 5 as Trump railed against his own allies for failing to follow his lead with Israel in their “War of Choice” against Iran, a war many consider to be in violation of international law and beyond the stated purpose of the NATO alliance. There is also concern in Europe that the Israel/US war with Iran is undermining Ukraine’s ability to resist Russia’s invasion, now entering its 4th year. There is concern that Trump’s efforts to broker an end to that war amounts to a demand Ukraine surrender to Russia its land, blood and treasure. This is especially poignant in view of Ukraine’s aid to Europe with its expertise in drone and anti-drone warfare, as well as to the Israeli/US’s war effort against Iran. The bottom line is Trump, now clearly in age related decline, is having a temper tantrum because the rest of the world will not obey his Ukaz. There is danger, as with all dementia patients, that he may strike out in irrational anger. The US military command must make sure if he has yet another hissy fit that he doesn’t try to nuke Iran under a new “One and done” foreign policy.
