Adam Savage is gobsmacked by this hand-drawn Enterprise cutaway [1]

If you've ever been wowed by a cutaway illustration of a ship from your favorite sci-fi series or movie, there's a pretty good chance Matt Cushman had something to do with it. His visualizations of the guts of ships from Star Wars and Star Trek are astounding in their detail and the thoughtfulness given to functional, interior design. In order to draft his cross section illustration of the original U.S.S. Enterprise, Cushman had to do a helluva lot of research, a process he's been involved in since he was still in college. Adam Savage knows some outstanding, geeky shit when he sees it and, as you'll see in this video, he's over the moon learning about all the behind-the-scenes effort it took for Cushman to complete this 11-foot-long masterpiece. If you dig it like Savage seems to dig it, good news: you can buy your own copy. Here's the propaganda from the poster's website:
