Fascinating 3D timelapse of Paris' development [1]

The history of Paris, France, is incredible. Dating back to the Mesolithic on the Left Bank of the Seine, the city has grown and thrived. The largest city in Europe during the Middle Ages, this video shows more than 2000 years of its expansion.

I loved seeing landmarks pop up and disappear over time. Île Saint-Louis and île de la Cité seem to make it through, while that third island just gets landfilled.
