TL;DR: Grab this 2017 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and four Thunderbolt 3 ports, now 67% off.

Was the Touch Bar the most intuitive design choice? No. Removing the function keys was certainly a choice, to say the least. But they were technically still there! You just had to do a little bit of hunting.

But much like looking for buried treasure, you'd always find more than you'd bargained for. In this instance, the Touch Bar also provided quick access to tools and shortcuts, as well as cool customization features and an emoji picker.

But luckily for us fans, what is gone can never truly be forgotten. On this occasion, this refurbished 2017 MacBook is the secret to getting back that touchscreen strip of heaven — all for just $499.99 (reg. $1,499).

This refurb is a time capsule

2017 may have only been 7 years ago. But we've all lived what feels like a lifetime since then. Additionally, sometimes good products don't get the reception they deserve. But the great thing about refurbished items is that with a little effort, you can get exactly what you're looking for.

This Grade-A, space gray MacBook Pro is virtually new and ready to go. The Touch Bar might look cool, but it's practical too, providing you with extra security and Apple Pay support via Touch ID. Other features on offer include:

512GB SSD storage

8GB RAM

3.1GHz dual-core Intel Core i5

Intel Iris Plus Graphics

13.3″ Retina display

Up to 10 hours of wireless web and iTunes movie playback battery life

Four Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports to support charging

Lean into the whimsy

At the end of the day, the only person who can decide what's practical is you. So if you're one of the few people who miss the Touch Bar, ignore the haters and quell that sorrow with this classic MacBook. The people who get it, get it.

Get this refurbished 2017 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and four Thunderbolt 3 ports for just $499.99 (reg. $1,499).
