The Slender Man Killer has escaped [1] ['Séamus Bellamy'] Date: 2025-11-24 The Powers-That-Be didn't feel that there was quite enough chaos in the world, so they've taken it upon themselves to poke at our plot with a stick. It seems that Morgan Geyser, the woman who admitted to killing her classmate as a sacrifice to Slender Man in 2014, has escaped custody. Cool, cool, cool. Geyser was placed in a group home this year after being granted conditional release from the Winnebago Mental Health Institute. She was sent to the psychiatric institute in 2018 after pleading guilty to attempted first-degree intentional homicide in a deal with prosecutors to avoid prison. Geyser's attorney, Tony Cotton, said on Sunday that he did not know what happened with his client and urged Geyser to turn herself in. Yes, please. Do that. Turn yourself in. People need to sleep, dammit. Geyser, was 12 at the time that she and her accomplice, Anissa Weier, murdered killed their classmate Payton Leutner. in a city park in 2014. . where they murdered the poor kid for the sake of a fictional internet character whom they were hellbent on serving. In the wake of their arrest, Geyser told investigators that she was afraid that Slender Man would come after her family if she didn't follow through on the murder. As it stands, no one knows why she decided to up and leave the group home, other than wanting a bit of freedom or with whom she chose to enjoy that freedom. Look, people recover from mental illness. Many people never do, but with medication and therapy, they learn to live with it as members of society. It takes a lot of hard work. Opting to cut off your monitoring bracelet, leave your group home, maybe go off your meds, and disappear into the night? Eh, that's hard work too, but I suspect not the kind that's gonna take you anywhere good.
