Fallout mod lets you explore post-apocalyptic California [1] ['Grant St. Clair'] Date: 2025-11-11 If I had a nickel for every overly ambitious mod for a Bethesda game, I'd probably be able to afford that ridiculous Fallout 4 anniversary DLC. The ones that actually make it to release are few and far between, and even then a good chunk of those are struck down after the fact by technical incompetence, team drama, incompatibility with other popular mods, or a mix of all three. With all that said, though, I have a good feeling about the just-announced Fallout: Long 15. This overly ambitious mod promises to let you explore the homeland of the New California Republic — New California, weirdly enough — along the ruins of Interstate 15. The trailer may be slick, but what's really giving me confidence is that this is the same team behind Dry Wells, a similar-sized content mod that explores the NCR's opposing faction, the Legion. That one actually came out in a complete, polished state, which gives me hope that the team's second project might do the same. Even after more than fifteen years, the love for New Vegas hasn't dimmed a bit. It warms the heart, just like residual gamma radiation.
