World Hearing Day 2024: Introduction webinar [1]

The World Health Organization and all stakeholders are gearing up for the eagerly awaited World Hearing Day 2024. This year, under the theme "Changing mindsets: Let’s make ear and hearing care a reality for all!", we are taking significant strides to address the challenges posed by societal misperceptions and stigmatizing mindsets. Our focus is on overcoming these hurdles through awareness-raising and information-sharing, specifically targeting the public and health care providers.

In preparation for the advocacy and celebration surrounding this pivotal day, WHO has curated a diverse range of materials that partners worldwide can leverage. To facilitate engagement and disseminate crucial information, WHO will be hosting a special webinar with the following objectives:

disseminate key messages for WHD 2024

share the materials crafted for WHD 2024

provide details on the registration process and the small grants

discuss activities and actions planned for WHD 2024.

We invite you to join us on 1 February 2024 to delve into the theme, explore the materials, and share your ideas and plans for a successful World Hearing Day 2024. To accommodate participants in different time zones, the same webinar will be conducted twice:

Session 1: 08:00–09:30 CET

Session 2: 16:30–18:00 CET
