Announcing the Release Candidate of WHO Digital Open Rule Integrated cause of death Selection (DORIS) tool [1]

DORIS tool is an integral component of the ICD-11 suite of tools freely accessible and specifically designed to enhance mortality reporting.

DORIS is a software developed to facilitate the identification of the underlying cause of death. This tool examines the information provided on the death certificates and assists in automatically selecting the underlying cause of death following the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) mortality rules that have been fully digitalized.

WHO Classifications and Terminologies team remains committed to providing the best possible support if any clarifications or assistance while utilizing the tool are needed.
