About the Role As Manager, Student Enrichment and Belonging you will oversee initiatives that aims to foster a sense of belonging and connection within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT). This role involves strategically developing, implementing, and evaluating programs on a large scale, for FEIT students. The primary goal is to provide students within the faculty with a unique orientation experience that connects them with their peers, creates a lasting sense of belonging throughout their academic journey, and enables them to engage with industry and enhance their professional skills and personal well-being. Additionally, the position involves fostering strong relationships with student clubs and societies to promote and enhance leadership skills among students. You will lead the Student Enrichment and Belonging team to fully implement and administer programs from end to end and will also work cross-functionally with the Communications, Experiential Learning and Employability, Scholarships & Prizes, Indigenous Engagement, Infrastructure Services on integrated program delivery. Your responsibilities will include: Review, refresh and implement the Student Experience strategic plan taking into consideration the full current student journey, need and mindset of the student experience Oversee the development and implement existing and new student experience programs Analyse programs to ensure they are effective, efficient, coordinated and equitable by using data, evaluation methods and critical thinking to drive better outcomes Lead and develop a team to implement the Faculty’s initiatives by setting a broad direction, mentoring, coaching and supporting professional development opportunities Who We Are Looking For We’re looking for a leader with a growth mindset and the ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment. You will show initiative and responsiveness in planning and developing new ideas and approaches to ensure organisational objectives are achieved. Your strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, including an ability to build positive and professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels will be vital to the role.
