Tentatively the conference will start 2pm Friday 4th October and finish Sunday 5pm with extra island-based eco-social cultural activities on Monday. An ANZSEE dinner and AGM will be scheduled alongside this conference. The Conference will focus on key research areas linked to Ecological Economics analysis, perspectives, and policies, including: Sustainable and healthy national, regional and urban communities and ecosystems Marine and coastal environments and people Building adaptive capacity and resilience in uncertain times via ecological economic-informed solutions Ecological limits and planetary boundaries Ecological ethics and worldviews and intrinsic value/s of nature First Nations and Indigenous communities/economies Embedding ecological economics in education systems Other topics consistent with the integrated multiple disciplinary perspectives of ecological economics.
