This is an introductory course and is aimed at anyone that has an interest in Intellectual Property (IP) and Competition Law. A similar course was offered in Namibia for the first time in 2022. On request, we are, therefore, again offering the course in Namibia this year. The course has been offered in Stellenbosch for the past 11 years.

The Short Course is presented by the Anton Mostert Chair of IP Law and other staff of the Faculty of Law at Stellenbosch University, and leading practitioners in the area of Intellectual Property Law.

A certificate of attendance will be awarded by Stellenbosch University. The certificate programme is accredited by Stellenbosch University’s Division: Short Courses.

The course is practical, and questions will be answered throughout each presentation. Each attendee will receive a memory stick with all the presentations.

Admission Requirements: NONE

Examination Requirements: NONE

Accreditation: Stellenbosch University

Cost: R8 250,00 per person (daily tea and lunch included)

Duration: 3 days (08:30 to 16:00)
