About the Role This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Research and Enterprise (CRE) team and actively contribute to enhancing the experience of graduate researchers and their supervisors across a range of dynamic projects. As a valued member of the team, your responsibilities will include supporting thorough reviews of graduate research courses, organising the annual graduate research conference, providing valuable support to key committees and their work groups, analysing performance data, and drafting comprehensive proposals and reports. With over 5000 graduate researchers in nine facilities, our University has one of the largest and most diverse graduate research cohorts by discipline. By undertaking this role, you will have a meaningful impact on supporting and inspiring these talented individuals, empowering them to drive positive change in their respective fields of study. Your responsibilities will include: Assist in implementing the University’s strategies as they relate to graduate research, including liaising with internal stakeholders to implement, analyse and review initiatives, and prepare proposals and reports Provide secretariat support to key graduate research committees and working groups including scheduling, timely preparation and distribution of agenda and papers, minute-taking and report writing Collate, interpret and analyse internal and external datasets to produce and communicate meaningful insights to inform graduate research strategic initiatives and regular course reviews Organise the annual graduate research conference and ad hoc virtual and in person meetings as required Who We Are Looking For A relevant qualification and/or relevant experience Experience working in research, research administration or management, government or high education Ability to synthesise and analyse data to inform program development Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and planning skills, and efficient stakeholder management skills For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.
