The National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) represents 27,000 academic and general/professional staff in universities and other tertiary education providers throughout Australia. The Union's WA Division is seeking a highly motivated staff member to join its team of industrial and organising staff. This will be on a fixed-term basis (until the end of January 2024) at up to .8 FTE.

The position is based at the WA Division office in Subiaco with an allocation to a Branch. The successful candidate will be assigned a mix of duties, including, as part of a team, taking responsibility for the completion of assigned organising, campaign, and administrative tasks or projects.

The position will be filled at either NTEU Level 5 ($89,611 - $96,885) or NTEU Level 6 ($101,170 - $110,908) depending on skills and experience, plus 17% employer superannuation contributions. Terms and conditions for this position are covered by a national collective agreement which has terms comparable with NTEU members in the industry.
