The appointee will have extensive clinical experience within the field of diagnostic radiography and can demonstrate education experience within the clinical and/or academic setting. The appointee will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects which may include general radiography, radiation biology and protection, medical radiation science, professional fundamentals and clinical simulation using multiple teaching methods (face to face and online delivery). The appointee will also participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and progress an active research profile that aligns with both the University and Schools direction. Experience in ultrasound and/or magnetic resonance imaging would be highly regarded, however not essential. To be successful you will have: A qualification relevant to diagnostic radiography or equivalent accreditation and standing appropriate at the level being applied for. Eligibility for full registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra), or for overseas applicants, demonstrated evidence of having consulted with Ahpra regarding eligibility for registration. Demonstrated clinical experience in contemporary diagnostic radiography practice, plus demonstrated experience in teaching excellence and supervision. A record of academic achievement relevant to diagnostic radiography in the scholarship of teaching and/or research or professional activity appropriate to the level being applied for. Demonstrated commitment in leading and delivering high quality student centred learning and teaching.
