About the Role The Digital Communications Coordinator is an exciting role in the Student Information team, responsible for coordinating and delivering visual, digital, and social communications to current students, from ideation to implementation. Working within a close-knit team of 20 creative professionals, the role will lead a small area of three to deliver campaign visuals, social media content, and other visual assets to support communications projects and campaigns across a range of platforms. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the digital communications team to ensure students receive usable, accurate, and timely information across a suite of integrated digital channels. Use judgement to assign resources and effort to asset production based on Student Information priorities. Ensuring the brand guidelines are implemented to develop a cohesive visual communication strategy for current students' information represented across several channels. The strategy should also be transferable to project delivery. Contributing to the development and implementation of the Student Information Plan and Digital Communications Plan. Participate in planning for the annual cycle of activities to ensure digital communications are delivered with maximum impact. Representing the Student Information team on a range of projects relating to the student portal, social media, student-facing campaigns, and information projects. Liaise closely with Manager, Student Information, to ensure that stakeholders are managed effectively. Who we are looking for We’re looking for an outstanding visual communications professional with a passion for creative solutions. You will have experience working in a communications team (e.g. with copywriters, project managers, and web editors) and understand the principles of end-to-end campaign planning. You'll enjoy a fast-paced environment and have expertise in branding and design for both digital and printed material and previous experience leading and coordinating teams. You will exhibit excellent judgement in what, and how information is communicated via digital channels, with experience navigating complex environments, and ensuring all messaging is in line with the Student Information strategy. You will also have: Professional experience in communications with expertise in graphic design, and digital communications delivery. Knowledge of current and upcoming digital strategies and management trends, paid advertising, and reporting platforms.
