Location: Bedford Park View Position Description About the Role As the Program Manager (Quality and Enhancement), you will drive strategic initiatives to enhance the quality of the student and staff experience and mature the operational capabilities across the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students) Portfolio of operations. This role is key in supporting the development and embedding of an enhancement culture within the University. Providing leadership and management to the Quality Enhancement Services team, you will oversee multiple concurrent projects relating to educational quality, policy and procedural compliance and continuous improvement of academic and administrative policy, process, systems, and data. Other responsibilities will include: Consulting with Senior Executive members to implement and manage academic quality and strategic action frameworks, ensuring ongoing quality enhancement and adherence to relevant regulatory, compliance and governance requirements. Consulting with relevant business units to manage the implementation of key quality enhancement projects across multiple units, with potential impact on strategy, budget, and staff. Supporting and influencing academic and professional staff in the development and implementation of effective quality and enhancement strategies and activities. About You You will be an experienced leader with exceptional relationship management and consulting skills to guide and influence a variety of stakeholders and build a high performing team in a complex environment. Through analytical and conceptual skills, you will demonstrate an ability to synthesise, develop and translate business issues into creative, workable solutions and successfully adapt process, methods, and requirements to meet strict and sometimes conflicting deadlines. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate: A relevant postgraduate qualification, extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Extensive experience in program, project and/or change management within a higher education, Government or regulated industry context including familiarity with LEAN and agile principles and methods. The ability to implement innovation and change to support the strategic directions of a tertiary education institution using appropriate models and frameworks. Proven success in managing the delivery of Education and/or Training quality enhancement initiatives.
