The Conversation UK: join our Editorial and Advisory Board

The Conversation UK is pleased to announce opportunities to join its expanding Editorial and Advisory Board. The Conversation UK is a unique contributor to the British and global HE landscape through the publication of news and analysis written by academics via a newsroom of journalists. Our unique model provides accessible content for all readers and our stories are also republished by other media across the world.

The Editorial and Advisory Board meets four times a year and works with the editorial team and the trustees to provide an informed and strategic perspective from the diverse academic and research/innovation member communities that are crucial to The Conversation UK’s mission. It also shares insights on matters relating to editorial coverage.

We are looking for six new board members. You will join a team of senior academics, all with backgrounds in executive HE leadership. Ideally, you will have strategic responsibility for HE research and or knowledge exchange in your career profile. You will have a sympathetic and principled commitment to the importance of public engagement with research, including expertise in an area of research/advanced practice covered by The Conversation. You will be enthusiastic about acting as an ambassador for The Conversation, and committed to working with the Board to maintain high-quality academic/editorial standards and principles of product development. You will be committed to maintaining and enhancing the platform’s work in equality, diversity, and inclusion.

This position is voluntary and you will not be paid a salary.
