It is an exciting time to be joining us as we embark on a series of programs that will be transformational. The Chief Operating Officer will be at the forefront of leading and inspiring change, bringing our purpose and values to life in everything they do.

Working closely with the Vice-Chancellor and as part of the Executive Team, the Chief Operating Officer is central to providing overarching leadership across several business units to deliver key outcomes. This role will oversee the functions within human resources, estate management, financial management, strategic planning, marketing, and business development to achieve the goals as set out in Connected.

Candidates will be a commercially astute business leader who will drive business outcomes and growth in an academic and research environment through ongoing collaboration, engagement, and transformation. A core priority will be to bring an innovative and commercial approach to the application of UC’s assets through the Campus Master Plan, with particular focus on opportunities within the property and facilities portfolios.

Candidates will oversee Connected’s implementation framework for the university to achieve its long term ambition, enabling the university to be a resilient and financially viable institution, one that can invest in our staff and students.
