Reporting to the Director of Academic Learning, this is a dynamic position without direct reports but with day-to-day tasks that include the training, coaching, and mentoring of teaching staff, the development of pedagogical learning materials, the review of curriculum development, the management of the LMS academic learning site, the proactive implementation of academic scholarship innovations and much more. Our ideal candidates are early career educators passionate about teaching excellence who are keen to embark on a highly supportive role at an institute of higher education with very high levels of faculty engagement, student satisfaction and a vibrant alumni community. Responsibilities Assist in the design and delivery of professional development training sessions to academic staff each trimester on pedagogical, EdTech, and administrative topics. Assist in the design and management of programs that enhance a community of practice, such as classroom observation, informal action research, and peer-peer support. Work closely with the Learning Management System team to maintain and further enhance a blended learning design of the Academic Learning Lounge – the dedicated online learning site for academic staff. Create learning resources for the Academic Learning Lounge by researching key areas of learning science and translating them into accessible learning experiences for academics. Assist in managing the student survey process each trimester.
