The Union's ACT Division, which represents members employed at the Australian National University (ANU), [email protected], University of Canberra and ACU, is seeking a highly motivated staff member to join its team of industrial and organising staff. This is a full-time position located at the ACT Division office in Canberra but will also have specified Branch allocated time which will involve travelling to other universities in the ACT. This full-time position is presently offered at 35 hours per week, comprising an ongoing 28 hours per week (0.8) and an additional 7 hours per week (0.2) which is offered as a separate fixed term contract coincident with the duration of an annually reviewable flexible work arrangement of another employee. The successful candidate will be assigned a mix of duties, including, as part of a team, taking responsibility for the completion of assigned organising, campaign, and administrative tasks or projects. The position will be filled at either NTEU Level 5 ($87,001 - $94,063) or NTEU Level 6 ($98,223 - $107,678) depending on skills and experience, plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
