You will have the opportunity to be specifically involved in recruiting and testing participants, as well as entering and analysing data collected for the Multimodal Hallucinations in Psychosis study. You will also write academic papers for peer-reviewed journals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in neuropsychological testing and clinical experience with psychosis patients. The role will work under the direction of Dr Wei Lin Toh within the Centre for Mental Health. This position is currently located at the Hawthorn campus, but you will possibly be required to undertake duties at St, Vincent’s and Alfred Hospitals as well as their affiliated clinics. Thus, you must be willing to travel between campuses and work at a range of clinical locations. About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: Qualifications and experience: • A postgraduate degree in Psychology or Cognitive Neuroscience • Knowledge and experience working with individuals with severe mental illness, particularly psychosis, including performing clinical and cognitive assessments • A self-starter, motivated to achieve set targets and takes the initiative to problem-solve • Good quantitative and qualitative statistical analysis skills (i.e. competency in SPSS and/or R or similar software) About Swinburne University of Technology Swinburne Horizon 2025 draws upon our understanding of future challenges.
