One Killed As Russian Missiles Strike Kyiv Residential Area

3 Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko (center) also arrived at the scene. Klitschko called the attacks on Kyiv an attempt by Russia to "intimidate Ukrainians" ahead of a NATO summit slated for Madrid on June 28-30.



Klitschko said one person was killed and six were injured, including a 7-year-old, who was in stable condition after surgery. The condition of her mother, who was also hospitalized, was much more serious, Klitschko said on Telegram.
