Commander Joint Support and Enabling Command Signs local implementation arrangement [1] [] Date: 2022-09 BERLIN, Germany – During his visit to the Federal Ministry of Defence in Berlin on 26 September 2022, the Commander of Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC), Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank, signed the Local Implementation Arrangement (LIA) representing JSEC and NATO. On the German side Lieutenant General Kai Rohrschneider, Head of Directorate-General for Forces Policy at the Ministry of Defence, signed the agreement. The LIA [...] is a major cornerstone for JSEC in a very challenging security environment. The LIA builds on the Technical Administrative Arrangement (TAA) of May 2021 and regulates details of national support services that in the future will be provided by Germany as JSEC’s host nation for the military headquarters located in Ulm. This essentially involves the provision of necessary resources, tangible assets including buildings, forces and means, accessory parts and other services required for the effective operation of the JSEC in the Wilhelmsburg Barracks, JSEC’s stationing property.
