[1] [] Date: 2024-09 F.13 Lunar Terrain Vehicle Instruments (LTVI) program element solicits proposals for investigations that include development and flight of stand-alone, science-driven instruments substantially enabled by unpressurized mobility on the lunar surface. Payloads selected through this program element will be integrated onto the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) and then delivered with the LTV to the south polar region of the Moon (within 6o latitude of the South Pole) in advance of the Artemis V mission. After delivery, the LTV, which will be an unpressurized vehicle, will be operated telerobotically in support of science and commercial activities until the crew arrives, at which point the crew will operate the rover in support of Artemis mission objectives. Teleoperation of the LTV for science and commercial activities will resume after Artemis crew have departed.
