['The Marti', 'Greg Dworkin', 'Bill In Portland Maine']

Date: 2026-06-01

Happy Moonday, Peeps!

I was reminded, over the weekend, that Da Peeps are a vital part of Community here at DK. It’s easy to forget, sometimes, but what we do here matters to so many people. Not just the regulars who chat in comments, but the “lurkers” whom I call “Quiet Friends,” who never comment but come by every day to enjoy our silliness, our compassion, and our friendship.

Well done, you lot! ❤️

Da Peeps—-ROCK!

Let’s get silly!

Pootie gettin’ a ‘tude!

More alike than different?

My cat, “Spot.”

Always “chill” when you get the chance!

Not just ’cause it’s Monday—any day is good fur hugs!

Bun buns are always welcome, ’cause they’re always cute!

Oh, sure. Those murder claws are cute, now….check with us in a year! bwaahaaahaaaa

Just shopping, nothing special, but oh the joy!!

Not all shopping works out so well—

Meanwhile, back at the howse…..

This is Cooper. He didn't realize anyone was home. Loves singing a cappella. Just not in front of an audience. 14/10 (TT: amber023 via Storyful) — WeRateDogs (@weratedogs.com) 2026-05-25T14:13:56.445Z

Also at home…the weirdness is FUN!

Scarin’ da hoomins iz funz!!!

Just kiddin’ hoomin, but as long as yer heer—-

Whut, hoomin? Ai showed up fur werk, didn’t ai?

This IS crossin’! I’m just dawdlin’ while ai do it!

You will notice, I hope that it’s the Basement Cats who do all the loafin’!

Shadow, First Of His Name, is very proud!

Nah, I wasn’t plannin’ on working today. We have plenty of nip already.

Dat is NOT da red dot!

And finally—–I’m not cryin’, YER cryin’! Happee Tears are da best!

A rescuer visits the home of a dog whose life he saved many years ago and their bond couldn't be more pure . I remember you . 😍👍💙 — omgisme (@omgisme.bsky.social) 2026-04-29T13:18:59.052Z

Have a Happy Moonday, Peeps, and may your week be full of joy and laughter. Grab it tight, share it well, and make Life just a bit sweeter.

Stay SAFE and well and warm/cool.

snorffles, scritchies, smoooooochies, an’ purrrrrrs
