This is just really my first try for a diary in the new system and…..I have to say, it’s HIGHLY unintuitive ! I get NO clues by just looking at it; VERY bare bones!

But; there is a real reason for the post; I’m a fairly big film fan and; time providing; I usually watch a handful of films every weekend, mostly on You Tube. I’m very much into horror and sci-fi of any era and recently I’ve watched a few old Euro-horrors. Unfortunately though, they’ve all been tainted with the colourisation brush. It’s usually “off” in some way; comes and goes, and has perculiar colour casts.

So, my question to anyone with tech knowledge is: is there a way I can switch to black and white? I’m using a Dell XPS 8930 with Windows 11; is there something in Settings I can just go to to switch off the colour? I’ve looked but haven’t found anything, and there doesn’t appear to be any way on You Tube either.
