I am going through a real rough patch. I have been crying all morning. I have had a stroke. This has given me diminished vision and a constant headache. I can no longer drive. I am having to sell the car I love so much.

I spent 18 years of my life as a caregiver. I took care of my mother for 6 years and my brother Reid for 12 years. They are both gone now. I really miss Reid who was my taste tester for new recipes for the cookbooks I am writing.

I try to keep busy. I have over 2,000 new recipes to type into cookbooks when I get the computer set up. I am writing a Steampunk novel. It is a study in good and evil and I guess it makes sense to introduce Satan as a character.

I am an artist and plan to continue doing art.

I have been here for years and plan to continue writing. I introduced you to J. Fred Muggs my oldest best friend on Sunday. I have a ton of new recipes for you. I'll continue to introduce you to the fascinating world of Steampunk. Plus being half Irish with one of my favorite holidays tomorrow I am allowed to keep blathering. My birthday is in 11 days (March 27) and I will be 78. I probably won't act as a mature person yet as I am a kid at heart.

I guess what I need is to hear that in spite of everything things will be alright. I would like to know why people read me and hope they will continue to do so. I need hugs even virtual ones.
