TheNewNormal [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2026-02-25 For years I have been a customer of a French clothing company calleed Faconnable. They say they’re “high-end” but really just very tasty clothes well-made. I would order on line and the delivery would arrive in Seattle in 2 or 3 days. Returns paid by Faconnable- just drop off at UPS and done. Recently there were changes: 2 weeks delivery times and returned return packages by our governmen. One got confused at customs and UPS is now trying to charge me for the return of the return. Faconnable said they’s fix it and did so- or tried. UPS is still charging me for the return of my return and with “late charges” and “interest” we’re up to several hundred dollars. You ever try to do bussiness with UPS? Forgetaboutit! Just received notice from Faconnable that they are regretfully no longer able to serve the American market. The small Italian wine maker from whom I could get a case of Amarone can’t send to Amertica anymore. Little things but they add up. This ain’t America any more- its Dogpatch.
