I'm Scared [1]

A couple of days ago I stood up and started walking towards the kitchen. There was a snapping sound and suddenly my eyesight was twice as bad, my hearing diminished some, and I felt exhausted. It had been a mini stroke. I need to see my doctor as soon as I can get in.

To say this has scared me is an understatement. I'll be 78 next month. With the COPD my health isn't exactly robust.

I'm not the type to give up but this will of necessity slow me down a bit. I can take it easy and work on recipes for cookbooks that I am creating. I have my Steampunk novel that the first of three planned books is near completion. Talk about a story going off in directions that I had never planned from the start of the project.

So I will keep on keeping on but just not as speedy as I used to. Any and all encouragement gratefully accepted.
