Be Helpful - Not Stupid [1]

We must resist the stupid. There is nothing gained by activities such as this. It may even be a staged stunt by political provocateurs. We must resolve to demand due process, rule of law, and the right to petition our government. Protect our neighbors, be open and vocal about respect for all peoples. Destruction of property will bring more militaristic responses. We need to calm the waters on violence. Organize and be ready for the ballot box.

The Democratic Party could create a network. A social network of allies and members. Tools to check on registration, information on where to register if yours is stolen. We never know what crimes the GOP will try to subvert elections. We cannot encourage crime; it only gives the Trumpets more justification to pursue their authoritarian dreams.

Peaceful protest does weary, requires patience and persistence. It is the only approach that will bring results not ineffective moments of indulgence of destruction.

Stay Strong Stay Loud — find a calm oasis to heal and come back stronger — do not be Hasty as an Ent would say.
