Time For Blue State Governors To Create Security Forces To Control Ice/Border Patrol [1]

Months ago, I advocated for Blue State Governors, to create State Security Forces, to deter Ice, Border Patrol and any other Federal Entities violating citizens rights.

I have read about Governor Walz, talking about utilizing Minnesota's National Guard, to act as a deterrent to illegal actions of Federal Authorities. I think its at best, a stop gap that Trump, could stop, by calling The Minnesota Guard, to active duty.

Clearly the situation calls for something like this. What type of resistance would Walz face from Minnesota Legislators?

Do Republicans have an impeachment or recall mechanism?

I would imagine this would be extremely controversial in Purple States like Minnesota but doable in Deep Blue ones.
