How It Ends [1]

['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.']

There is a lot of speculation floating around about Trump’s health. I hope it’s right.

I want to ignore the WHY he’s old, fat, stupid, evil, sick, dying, corrupt, etc.

I want to speculate on HOW this all ends, i.e. HOW does Trump leave power?

I’d love to hear y’all’s thoughts on the likely events, stages, possibilities, processes, etc. that lead to Trump’s replacement and the consequences. There are LOTS of historical examples of regimes falling—basically all of the ones that haven’t fallen, yet. There are also very specific laws on the books in the US about how things must proceed to replace Trump (not that laws mean anything to these people).

How do y’all think it will happen? What do you think the consequences will be?

For me, what I imagine is possible is that:

1) Trump declines physically, mentally and emotionally (we’re already there)

2) Handlers begin to limit public exposure (we’re starting that phase, now, I believe)

3) With limited exposure, insiders struggle to take control—from Trump and each other—while they have the opportunity. Word begins to leak out.

4) 25th amendment is contemplated, and finally enacted.

5) No one likes JD Vance, Surprise!

6) MAGA is pissed that The Elite took control from Trump too soon—they’re TRAITORS!

7) Conspiracies start to circle that Trump was poisoned

8) By that time we’re near mid-terms Oligarchs openly struggle to maintain control—but they can’t coordinate squat, so it’s chaos. Mocked by everyone.

9) MAGA stays home for the mid-terms.

10) World peace reigns and we begin the Accountability Project (wishful thinking).
