Doing nothing and standing on a moral ground of judgement highlighting and castigating everyone who created the problem ……. does little to nothing Big protests and banners and petitions and the idea that we can just get someone else to do something with social pressure — not working. But Dooey — you are headed down the doomers path — people must have hope or they won’t do anything……… this is like telling me not to feed a dead chicken a poisonous food. the chicken is already dead — a conversation on what we could do to save it is asinine. Yes — it is beyond asinine to preach false hope when the weather tells the tale — everyday — every media channel. Does the weather personality need to say climate change do they need to make a verbatim repetition of pure climate projections and on the ground unfolding before we accept where we are? Apparently nothing will be enough to make change. I think that nearly 80% of the people reading this post went to work unmasked with a active covid infection within the last 6 months. But neither does covid and those repeated infections — severe to asymptomatic are accumulating in your body with their unique gifts as a variant and they are fucking up your immune system. You are a ticking time bomb for whatever inherited disease you may have in you that good health keeps suppressed. you are much more highly at risk for more severe infections from other illness that you come in contact with.
