Stop calling tariffs "reciprocal" [1]

Even Kos front pagers are doing this in their posts. They shouldn’t. “Reciprocal” has an actual meaning when used to describe tariffs. It means “Equal to those imposed on us”. Trump’s tariffs are nothing of the sort even if he calls them that to try to make them sound reasonable. We should not ever accept Trump’s bullshit framing of anything, especially when it is diametrically opposed to reality. Reality is that Trump is imposing massive tariffs on countries that did nothing of the sort to us. They are in no sense “reciprocal”
