RISE UP is supporting fired federal workers [1]

The world can be a wonderful place (sometimes).

An organization calling itself Rise Up is offering pro bono legal services (pro bono = FREE…!) to those in need. More specifically, Rise Up bills itself as the Federal Workers Legal Defense Network. It offers legal help (once again...FREE…!) to federal employees that have been summarily DOGE’d, that is, those who have lost — or are in danger of losing — their jobs due to the chaotic and heartless dismantling of the federal government that is underway.

If you’re a lawyer, help them out by offering your services, pro bono.

If you’re an experienced HR professional, Rise Up can use your help, so volunteer.

And of course, you can donate to support their efforts.

This is good work. One way or another, let them know they’re appreciated.
