I am not prone to post on websites like DK. BUT, I came across something today while I was cleaning out my office at work (I am recently retired), and reading it gave me great pause…… and I think that it should give everyone great pause. I had made a copy of this article back when it was originally published in The Guardian…… back in 2007!!!! It had gotten buried on my desk…. and I am very thankful to have unearthed now and think it important enough to share it here.

The article is amazingly prescient in light of current developments in this country (and elsewhere actually!). It is a bit of long read, but I promise you that it is well worth the time to read it in its entirety.

Further, I urge everyone to share this as broadly as possible! We, as a nation, MUST truly wake up…. and quickly!!!

www.theguardian.com/…

P.S. I hope that the link works!!! I have not tried this before…. so I hope I am doing it correctly!
