Rod Serling's "Carol For Another Christmas" [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-12-24 Rod Serling aired a thought-provoking project in 1964 called, “Carol For Another Christmas”. Some of you may have seen it, TCM is said to air it sometimes. It was a takeoff on the classic Scrooge story about a man who’s embittered by the death of his son and wanting to isolate and advocating for the country to isolate and close itself off to the idea of the United Nations. Twilight Zone magazine did a story about it in a 1983 issue, that’s where I first read about it. Thankfully, the internet archive has the copy online and Walter Culture has made a great youtube video about it. It had an all star cast and the character Peter Sellers played, “The Imperial Me” is a chilling echo to current politicians. Happy Holidays everyone. I may be late replying to comments; I’m making Christmas Eve dinner. Well, I goofed, I didn’t realize you can watch the movie online archive.org/...
