** Wray resigning, rather than making Trump fire him, or -- MUCH BETTER -- rather than fighting Trump on his effort to corrupt the FBI. (Like Jeff Besos and others "obeying in advance" rather than accept the battle that this Force of Fascism has pushed on him.)

** The glee of so many people at the murder of the UnitedHealthCare CEO, and the whole issue of healthcare in America-- and the challenge of Justice.

** The writing by JVL on Bulwark about the American people's being more into punishing their perceived enemies than into improvements in their lives.

All of them adding up to the need for heroes on the pro-Democracy side who are able and willing to stand and FIGHT in ways that express the underlying anger of the American people and direct it toward its proper object.
