Donald Trump Rips off Associated Press Again [1]

This is actually an old story with a new twist. AP in the rush of the coverage after the assassination attempt forgot to designate the picture, taken by AP photographer Evan Vucci, as only for editorial use, for three days. Trump took advantage of that to use it on the cover of his book in August.

Online retailers used the picture as well, without permission.

What he didn't get away with was using an engraving of the photo on the back of the watches he was selling. Those watches couldn't be sold. Trump had to stop showing and using the watch back. This was after the editorial content only was tagged to the picture and Trump was apparently too cheap to work out a licensing deal with AP.

I bring this back up again as the Grifter in Chief decided to put the book with a Christmas ribbon on it up on Truth Social today.
