Create a problem (in todays media environment it does not have to even be a real problem. Just keep repeating it)

Wait for the reaction you want.

Provide the solution that fits your agenda.

Every wanna be autocrat, dictator, strongman, president for life asshole has used this simple formula. It's even easier when you have control of the propaganda machine that is the internet. Hitler did it. Stalin did it. Trump is doing it. It works.

Stalin used his position to appoint loyalists to key positions and eliminate his rivals. By the late 1920s, he had absolute control over the Soviet Union. Sound familiar? See a pattern here?

Stalin is still venerated in Russia by many to this day, Millions would welcome him back as their leader. The man who murdered more people than any other mass murderer in history.

After the Reichstag Fire in February 1933, Hitler used that event to push through the Enabling Act, giving him dictatorial powers. We no longer need phony fires. Create a lie, such as “millions of illegal alien murderers are crossing the border”, repeat the lie using paid trolls and billionaire owned news media and you can magically create any hot button issue you want.

Trump and company plan to implement Project 2025. A blueprint to create a problem that will destroy government. People will clamor for a solution. The fascist will then offer their solution. Executive orders and regulation that allow the chosen few to fleece the government coffers with a variety of privatization ventures including the big prize - Social Security.

When you control the various media you can effectively control the vote. They just proved that.

This is all happening right in our face and there does not seem to be any way to prevent this.

We are fucked, and it is too late to change the course of events. IMO, once the fascist take control in January they will never voluntarily give it up. Our institutions can not save us.
