It's the Misogyny, Stupid !!!! [1]

In 2016 Hillary Clinton destroyed Donald Trump in almost every conceivable way. Kamala Harris did the same to such effect that she had that fool babbling on stage about people eating cats and dogs. Both were eminently more qualified. Their campaigns optically, logistically and managerially? It would be like comparing the leadership of Captain Kirk to that of a sociopathic Gillaghan. As far as money? Come on! It wasn't close.

Donald Trump in both campaigns could not have been worse. In 2016 he was "grabbing them by the %%$^". In 2024 he was performing sex acts with microphones, slurring his words EVERYDAY as a 34 time convicted felon. That's the short version. But it didn't matter. They both lost.

But in 2020 Trump arguably ran his best campaign. Sure he was saying stupid stuff and arguing for the medicinal uses of bleach but that's Trump everyday. He matched Biden in fundraising blow for blow. The dude was literally sending out government checks with his name on them along with relatively massive weekly unemployment benefits. And he had all the trappings of the incumbency. Yet he lost by seven million votes despite receiving more than any sitting president in history. His opponent never had to leave his basement. Because of Covid Biden DID NOT RUN A CAMPAIGN and yet he got more votes than ANYONE EVER. Oh yeah, HE WAS 78 !!!!!

Yes, mistakes were made in 2016 and 2024. Yes mistakes need to be addressed. But this in many ways is a primitive country. Yes, there are always many contributing factors in any loss. But I am convinced that almost any man would have beat Trump in either election and almost any woman would have lost.

Trump is a feeble, stupid,corrupt and degenerate human being. But next to two women the thing that mattered most in a country like ours is that he was a man and next to his opponents that one quality more than any other was decisive.

My eyes have been opened. As a Black man I use to think that race trumped everything when it came to politics. I was wrong. After all, we elected and reelected a Black man named Barack Hussein Obama. He won Iowa, Ohio and Florida TWICE. I believe that if Kamala were a black man she would have won in walk. There are still disadvantages running as a black man. But a lack of masculinity certainly isn't one of them. When it comes to executive power this country sees leadership through a single prism.

They lost because they were women. And I was blind to that because I'm a man.
