Let's talk about the GOP support for North Korea [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-11-21 Former Ukrainian military Commander-in-Chief, Valery Zaluzhny, recently said that World War III has already started in 2024. And I believe he is right, history may mark 2024 as the beginning. He goes on to explain that Ukraine is no longer fighting just Russia, they are now fighting two countries. Soldiers that were born in two different countries, trained by two separate militaries, are now helping attack Ukraine. They have joined an occupation campaign. The Ukrainian people are giving their lives to fight both Russia and North Korea, in defense of their own land. That is now a World War, even though the Western forces have not done the same with their personnel. Yet. Which got me thinking — if the GOP withdraws support for Ukraine, as they promised they would, they are no longer supporting just Russia, they would also be supporting and benefiting North Korea, an enemy state that wishes nothing more for us than to burn. And also an enemy of our allies, South Korea. So why aren’t we talking about this more? Should this not be all over the media before they have a chance to withdraw their support? Should we not connect these two every chance we get? Plaster it everywhere? Withdrawing support for Ukraine equals supporting North Korea. Is there another way to see it? And is that not worth talking about more? We need to make sure that there is a real stigma connected to this. Every politician should have this on their mind when they place a vote, and they should know we’re all watching. They won’t know that if we’re not all talking about it.
