Democrats Rejoice: Trump Won. The Future is Ours. [1]

Some day, in my lifetime (I hope), Democrats will rejoice over this election loss to Donald Trump. After the Great Depression, our nation chose Democrats over Republicans for the next five election cycles. After the Great Recession, United States voters elected the first Black President of the United States.

Donald Trump, who is rated amongst the worst Presidents in history, gets to do a 2.0. His unfitness for office was not enough to enable voters to elect the first woman as President. It is a choice I believe most will regret.

The question now: What comes after Trump.

Based on political history repeating itself which I wrote about on Monday , and stock market indicators which I wrote about on Tuesday , we can expect an economic upheaval in a short time frame. The market will drop a minimum of 20%, and likely much more than that. Retirement funds will be decimated, layoffs will happen, and economic conditions seen by very few Americans are likely to emerge as reality.

Afterwards, Democrats may again win the next five elections, gain control of both legislative houses for generations, and have a majority of seats on the Supreme Court. For this, a sacrifice is necessary. The next four years will determine whether or not this sacrifice was worth it. I pray I live long enough to see the benefits of Trump’s victory. It won't happen in four years. IT might take twenty-four years.

The campaign for women to vote began in 1754. The Right of Women to vote became guaranteed by our Constitution by the 19th Amendment in 1920.

Blacks worked towards freedom since they first landed on these shores in 1619. Blacks served in the United States Military in every war from the Revolutionary War to the present time. Blacks achieved equal voting rights in 1965.

Our fight today to save the planet, to save our country will be in comparison a short time frame. Now is not the time to give up. Now is the time to get involved. Each person reading this is a weapon. IF our weapons remain sidelined, as fourteen million voters did in this recent election, our losses will mount.
