MSNBC Becoming Part of SpinCo? [1]

It looks like there's going to be some changes with MSNBC. And it doesn't have anything to do with the Joe and Mika scandal other than there was a 17% drop in viewership after the Mar-a-Lago visit.

MSNBC will join CNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY, USA and the Golf Channel in a new company. Some reports say it's called SpinCo, but its just a temporary name to describe it, not the actual name. Calling some news divisions SpinCo, sounds like a nasty remark. Probably is meant to mean spinoff.



There's a definite question whether the company is going to have access to NBC News functions and reporting.

The Comcast announcement could set off a round of sell-offs, mergers and acquisitions. MSNBC might actually lose its name.



According to reports, CNN is ready to fire hundreds of employees after dismal ratings during the election season. CNN is regarded as the source of Trump coining the phrase fake news. He attacked their reporters and pointed them out every time he could.



So I'm going to put the blame on Trump, plus news media fear of Trump. I truly believe that if he had not won, this wouldn't be happening.
