He's got way too much sympathy vote. But you'll find out later in this article that he is dangerous just like every other Trump nominee. He was CEO of Wall Street company Canter Fitzgerald on 9/11 when he lost 658 of his employees in the tragedy, including his brother. Canter Fitzgerald has donated $180 million to families of the 9/11 attack. He survived 9/11 because he was dropping off his son at kindergarten causing him to be late for work. In the Department of Commerce, there are 13 bureaus. Among them are the Census Bureau, NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Minority Business Development Agency, and the US Patent and Trademark Office. I mention these because they're going to be targets. Trump will want the Census Bureau to dig out and root out all the illegal immigrants with questions on the census form and then use it accordingly. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is a target because they understand climate change and Trump doesn't. Also he doesn't like to be corrected when a map is shown of a hurricane path and he changes it with his Sharpie. Minority Business Development Office just sounds from its name that it's going to be called woke and destroyed because it's DEI. Control of the US Patent and Trademark Office is very important to any business. It's important to Trump personally. Trump will want to trademark drill, baby, drill. Melania and Ivanka have a large number of trademarks. Trump of course has anything to do with Trump and also many political slogans he's trademarked. According to Forbes, Trump has 600 trademarks in 87 countries. He's got 119 in China. 21 and Hong Kong and Macau. But only 56 in the United States and its territories. The Supreme Court helped him out in a lawsuit against a company that wanted to trademark "Trump too small." You can easily guess why. So Trump has an interest in controlling those bureaus, and Howard will probably give him just what he wants. Okay, here we go. He spoke at the Madison Square Garden rally. Lutnick said that the US was prosperous during the early 1900s because there "was no income tax and all we had was tariffs." "We had so much money that we had the greatest businessman of America get together to try and figure out how to spend it." Lutnick likes tariffs, so we're in trouble. In an interview on Oct. 31st, with Kaitlin Collins of CNN, he said he talked to RFK Jr about vaccines. RFK Jr said that if he was given the data that proved that vaccines weren't viable then he would yank them off the market. "Let's give him the data. I think it would be pretty cool to give him the data. Let's see what he comes up with. I think it's pretty fun." Cool? Fun? He sounds like a teenager on TikTok. Lutnick also pushed the debunked conspiracy theory that autism is caused by vaccines. He backtracked later on an X post. Then he said, "We would be doing everybody a service if the government respected Bobby Kennedy's request to make the full data available." He is one of the leads of Trump's transition team. He talks to Trump every day, and has an influence on who Trump nominates. He found a way to blame the Biden administration for why Trump hasn't signed the memorandum of agreement for ethics and the secrecy agreement. He said they're not important, on a really low priority. I'm transcribing and summarizing from the video of the interview. He says Trump is going to have the greatest people because what he starts with is a group of 150 people and they vouch for five other people making 750. These are just people saying that other people are good. You're not talking about background checks by the FBI for vetting, or even private investigators. He just said "I've got the best people." Then he said he's got a great relationship with Elon musk. Kaitlin pushed back when the idiot started talking about vaccines and autism. It was like you were just listening to RFK Jr. Then he brought up Roundup, saying that RFK Jr. went after that. She gave him a little leeway for the first couple of minutes and then she started crossing him and pressing him for real answers. The whole interview was 8.5 minutes. The funny thing, if you can look at that way, it is that he said that RFK Jr would not be the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This guy isn't just a Lutnick, he's a nudnick. Then I watched Howard's speech at Madison Square Garden. He mentioned the 9/11 attack but not his brother. He said that we have to elect Donald Trump because we must crush jihad. Then he goes into what MAGA means and he says at the turn of the century, here we go. "We are letting the rest of the world eat our lunch." He's just another spouter of American protectionism. Close the borders don't let anything in or out and we'll be happy. He says we're going to balance the federal budget and show the world how powerful we are. We already are powerful. Watching the Madison Square Garden speech, he just lost any sympathy I could have for the guy for 9/11. He sounds like every other Trump nutcase. You can look at the two videos I've linked to Madison Square Garden and the Kaitlin Collins interview. You won't be happy with what you see. This is a nomination that could just fly under the radar. If he gets grilled by the Senate and they see what an idiot he is, it may be a different story. The fact that he runs a big Wall Street firm is a plus for Commerce. But everything else about the man is negative.
