Hate to be the grinch but please forget all the good news articles. File them away with the mythical nikki Haley voters, the Harris landslide, and the Iowa miracle.

it’s human nature to be optimistic. We even need optimism to survive. But we have to be realistic too.

myth: republican senators are going to provide any meaningful opposition.

Those articles how senators are shocked at the picks of gaetz and tulsi? Fuggetabout it. The senators are going to cave in the blink of an eye.

myth: trump voters- Muslims, women, Latinos- will regret their choices.

weve been in exactly this place before. Trump voters have seen how things went, and they have still voted for him again. He promised to overturn roe v wade, that’s what he did, and so here we are.
