Home alone [1]

Ursula never did well when she was home alone.

One time she got herself caught in the bathroom. The window was too high even for her to get through and she hit a stud when she clawed through the drywall, but she got herself out by turning the door handle with her teeth. That was around the same time she found the 20 lb bag of dogfood and ate the whole thing, much to her discomfort for the next 3 days.

That was about the last time she was ever left home alone, except once when a dog-sitting friend disregarded the warning. Then Ushi only had to go through a window screen to escape.

When she had a squeaky toy she carefully

removed all that fluffy stuff as many times as she could get her friends to push it back in.

This clever girl left the baby’s toys alone.

RIP Ushi January 2024
