Normal political discourse is not possible [1]

MAGA complains that we are not coming together? Coming together is now impossible. This is not a situation for Romney/McCain/Bush sorts of political discourse. What makes such discourse it impossible comes down to three things:

1. Trump is a traitor and is selling us out to Russia in real time.

2. Trump will kill people. More women will die unnecessarily. TFG is surrounding himself with sycophants and purging generals so that when he orders people to shoot protestors, they will actually do it. Ukrainians will not stop fighting, they will simply die in larger numbers because they are not supported. Gaza will get much worse since Netanyahu now has carte blanche to push the Palestinians completely out of Gaza and the West bank if he chooses. People will die in Taiwan when Trump does nothing as China invades. Immigrants will be savaged, as will minorities of all kinds. Our status as a reliable ally will disappear.

3. Trump is preparing to end democracy. He is looking for a reason to declare marshal law. We may not make it to our 250th birthday. An election in 2026? Trump is not worried about a backlash because he is working to make sure the election does not happen.

This is not liberal vs conservative. Trump is a bridge too far and we are about to pay a very very large price.
