If Trump Becomes President He Will Pardon the J6 Convicts and Use Them to Terrorize ALL "Enemies" [1]

Trump attempts to terrorize now using his ”Truth" social platform. If allowed to assume the presidency he will release the J6 convicts and continue, with devastating effect. Federal law enforcement opposition will be non-existent, but will persecute those who attempt to defend themselves. First in his crosshairs will be Congress. Democrats will have to flee for their lives and go into hiding, as will any Republican opposition. Next up will be national media, who will have to surrender or have their facilities wrecked and personnel murdered. Following that he will go after the states and local media. Ultimately no one will be safe, including DailyKos and all of us.

He has threatened to jail his political opponents. He thinks putting Liz Cheney in front of a firing squad and shooting her in the face is a great idea. He wants to deport millions of people. He wants to get rid of the dollar and replace it with crypto. He is making friends with dictators. He is going to ditch NATO. He is going to ruin the economy. He will turn on the Big Oil spigot and dump millions of pounds of carbon into the atmosphere further destabilizing this planet. He is going to turn back environmental protections. He is going to completely fuck the deficit. His buddy Bannon said that the free press is going to be no more and called out Rachel Maddow by name.

The only legal hope would be to have Congress pass a law based on the 14th Amendment, disqualifying Trump from the presidency due to causing an insurrection.

Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution’s 14th Amendment prohibits anyone who engaged in insurrection against the U.S. from holding federal or state office. The U.S. Supreme Court in March ruled that the rule’s enforcement must come through an act of Congress, at least by legal scholars’ interpretations of the ruling. There’s no sign Congress will enforce Section 3 to stop President-elect Donald Trump from becoming the next president.



To start, Democrats will need to wise up first:

Dems say they will certify a Trump victory — even the ones who think the 14th Amendment disqualifies him

If Democrats were to support disqualification, how would this get past the Republicans? Joe Biden has worked political miracles before. If he were to make this a priority it has a chance. Per ecortez:

Mitch McConnell just pulled a slick move. Crazy that we have to rely on old chicken throat to save us but … he called an early leadership vote (which is apparently allowed after the election) next Wednesday to install one of two majority leaders for next term who is not a big Trump fan and can DOA anything coming out of the House. The plan is apparently to block Project 2025 or any other Trump overreach. The MAGAs are having a nuclear meltdown over it.

It is a longshot but otherwise we are facing an extinction level event.

If we were to succeed we would end up with JD Vance. Vance is awful but he's not Trump. Better to take a chance with him than to go with someone who we know will destroy us.
